The special effects for Frank Langella were fantastic as was his acting. Other than Frank this was a real stinker. Cameron Diaz should stick to comedy and not try new things like a southern accent. The story is very strange and they didn’t do a very good job of truly explaining what the deal really was. It was one movie that kept you hanging the entire time but they never finished so you knew who “My Employers” were. I wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone. If you are a Cameron Diaz fan I would really recommend not watching this… it will skew your view of her forever.

Up in the Air – It looked like a pretty stupid movie from the previews but the story was much better than expected. It’s basically like a real world Sims video game. People who are down on their luck volunteer to be real life avatars for others. They are injected with a nano particle that allows their avatar owner to control them. The avatars work in a world called Society and it is an odd place. You have to see it to get how creative the human mind can be… could be fun, could be really bad. The Gamer portion comes in when they turn the technology into another game where convicts can fight for their freedom in a game called Slayers. Gerard Butler is the best fighter and is the main character. I don’t want to give away too much of the story so you need to watch it sometime when you don’t have a better option.
